Labas, I'm Marta!

Hi there! Let’s get to know each other. My name is Marta. I am 34 years (I think there is a mistake in my passport as I am 21 forever) old and I come from a small town in the North West of Lithuania - Plungė. After living in 6 different countries for the last few years I have been living in Madrid. Spain got my heart! During my 21 years long life, I have tried working in many fields - teaching English 2 years old Chinese babies, leading a team in a luxury restaurant in England, working in a proper American diner where they eat waffles with bacon, serve “margaritas” to rich Mexican tourists or help international police to catch bad boys and girls. But one thing has never changed - teaching had spreading the Lithuanian Language around the globe! 

But I have never stopped wondering where is my place in this world? And I have found it. It’s in the sky! :) Now I am a flight attendant on the side spreading Lithuanian language in the world directly and virtually. I enjoy beaches, sunsets and sunrises. I love watching people in airports and I truly believe that the most honest “goodbyes” and “hellos” happen there. I like outdoor activities, whether it’s a bbq with friends or solo walk in the forest. I like going out as much as sometimes I enjoy reading a book on my cozy sofa.

But what I want to do mostly is to leave something after me. So providing an exciting way for people to learn Lithuanian is my ultimate goal.

The course is designed for English Speakers. As English and Lithuanian are quite different languages, in most of the course, I speak in English, so it will be easier for you to understand the main concepts, and it will make the transition to Lithuanian smoother and easier to understand. You don't need to be an English native speaker, but you need to feel quite confident with the English language.
